Ice Bears Secure Broadcast Partnership with
Fox Sports Knoxville 1340 AM & 101.5 FM

Knoxville, TN (November 17, 2017) Knoxville Ice Bears Executive Vice President, Dave Feather, announced today the Knoxvile Ice Bears and Fox Sports Radio Knoxville 1340 AM & 101.5 FM have partnered to provide a live game broadcast for select games for the 2017-2018 season. In addition to the broadcasts, the station will also carry a weekly show that will feature Head Coach Jeff Carr, on Tuesdays, starting at 8 pm.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with a great broadcast partner like Fox Sports Knoxville. Now, we have a broadcast home for fans to listen to games over the air waves or through their app. In addition to the games, we have a great opportunity to have Coach Carr talk about his thoughts for past and future games as well as have players join him each week,” said Feather.
Fox Sports Knoxville will be the “Offical Home of the Knoxville Ice Bears”, and will be branded and promoted within the arena and in various marketing elements promoting the partnership.

The Knoxville Ice Bears will be home on Friday, November 17th for their only home game of the week when they host the Fayetteville Marksmen for Mo’Vember – a tribute to men’s health awareness. Puck drop is at 7:30 and tickets are available by visiting www.ticketmaster.com.
Saturday, November 18th the Ice Bears travel to Roanoke for a single game trip. The game can be seen on live on www.sphllive.com or by joining fellow Ice Bears fans at the official away game viewing location, Crown & Goose. The Ice Bears return to Knoxville next Friday when they face the Fayetteville Marksmen for Mo’Vember, a tribute to Men’s Health.
