Knoxville Ice Bears to host golf tournament

August 3, 2010 – The Knoxville Ice Bears today announced that they will host a golf tournament on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Three Ridges Golf Course, located at 6101 Wise Springs Road in Knoxville.

 

The shotgun start will begin at 12pm, with lunch being served before golf and dinner being served after the tournament.  Beverages will be provided on the course during the event.  Trophies will be awarded to 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd places, as well as prizes for Longest Drive and Closest to Pin. 

 

Cost to play in the tournament is $400 per team.  Included in the cost is greens fee, cart fee, driving range balls, lunch, dinner, and a gift bag.  Select members of the Knoxville Ice Bears will be playing in the tournament, as well as newly named Head Coach, Mike Craigen, and Director of Hockey Operations, Kevin Swider.  Fans that wish to have a team member play in their foursome can call the office to register, as players are available on a limited basis.
