Miss Knoxville Ice Bear presented by Ray's ESG

The Knoxville Ice Bears will be holding their 8th annual beauty contest on ice, February 27th 2010. Women from all of East Tennessee will compete for cash, prizes and the title of Miss Knoxville Ice Bear 2010.

For the past seven seasons, the Miss Knoxville Ice Bear game has seen at capacity crowds cheer on the Ice Bears and the ladies of East Tennessee to victory. This season, we are taking the competition up a notch. Instead of having 12 girls compete in both the evening gown and swimsuit attire, the program will consist of nine separate qualifiers in a "Best Dressed" competition and nine different qualifiers in a "Swimsuit" competition. A panel of 12 judges will determine a winner from each category. At the end of the game, the fans in attendance will be voting by rounds of applause to crown the overall "2010 Miss Knoxville Ice Bear" winner.

All qualifying will be held at Ray's ESG at 7255 Kingston Pike. The dates for each category are:

Best Dressed - January 14 - January 21 - January 28

Swimsuit - February 4 - February 18 - February 25

Each qualifier will receive $100 on the date they qualify and another $100 when they show for the finals. Qualifiers who place in the finals will receive:

Best Dressed        
$500 - First
$300 - Second
$100 - Third

Swimsuit
$600 - First
$400 - Second
$300 -Third

Upon selection of the two category winners - Miss Ice Bear will be crowned by fan applause during the 10 minute mark of the third period.

Immediately following the game - Ray's ESG will host an after party with all of the contestants and winner. All contestants will receive a $50 gift card to Ray's ESG for the evening and all fans will receive free cover charge and specials on food and beverages all evening long.
