The Knoxville Ice Bears have traded defenseman Ned Simpson to Vermilion County in exchange for future considerations, Head Coach Jeff Carr announced Sunday. Simpson, a rookie out of Jamestown University appeared in eight games for the Ice Bears this season.

In addition, the Ice Bears have signed forward Connor Graham to a standard player contract. Graham has appeared in 11 games for the Utah Grizzlies of the ECHL this season, scoring one goal and adding two assists. He will make his Knoxville debut in the team’s game at Fayetteville Sunday afternoon.

The Ice Bears drop the puck against the Marksmen at 3 p.m. EST at Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville.
